Check IPO allotment

Allotment is usually finalised one working day after bidding closes. Find the issue below and check with your PAN on the registrar's site.

Recent and pending allotments

How to check

  1. Open the registrar's allotment page for your IPO (linked above), or BSE / NSE.
  2. Pick the company from the dropdown. It appears on the evening of allotment day.
  3. Enter your PAN, application number or demat account ID, then submit.
  4. If allotted, shares reach your demat account the day before listing. If not, the UPI block on your bank account is released.

Why you may not get shares

When the retail portion is oversubscribed, SEBI rules require a lottery: as many applicants as possible get one lot each, chosen at random. Applying for more lots doesn't improve your odds in the retail category; applying from separate PANs in your family does.
